Holiday Concert

Originally, there was a local church minister that did fundraisers for called the adopt-a-family program for the Every Woman’s Center – a local charity. They would buy toys and groceries for families who needed some help at Christmas. This is how we began doing charitable work. Previous to this, the band supported the band programs at the schools where they rehearsed and played.

A conversation with the director of the Every Woman’s Center led to Second Wind performing a concert for them where we raised money and awareness for their organization. The monies could be used for emergencies during the Christmas season or for restocking their supplies in the new year. We continue to support this charity annually.
